Payments Terms


Buyer

When a buyer puts an order with a seller on SeoPlace, the buyer must pay the agreed-upon price in full at the time of purchase. SeoPlace will hold this payment in escrow until the seller completes the work and delivers it to the buyer. SeoPlace will pay the seller once the buyer has received and approved the completed job.


If the given work falls short of the customer's expectations, the buyer may request changes from the seller, who must perform those revisions within a stated time frame. If the buyer is still unhappy after modifications, they may open a dispute with SeoPlace's customer support team.


SeoPlace offers various payment methods for the buyers, including credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay. The platform will recognize specific currencies to cater to buyers from all over the world. SeoPlace will charge buyers a service fee for using its platform, representing a percentage of the total transaction value. This fee depends on the nature of the work and the amount charged by the seller.


Seller

SeoPlace enables its vendors to receive compensation via PayPal or direct transfer. The withdrawal periods are influenced by the vendor’s level and the payment mode they opt for.


On SeoPlace, new vendors are required to wait till the lapse of 14 days from the date of order completion before the funds become eligible for withdrawal. The withdrawal rule changes for vendors with an account history of being operational for a period exceeding 90 days and having accomplished 20 orders. Please note that funds are made available for withdrawal after seven days of processing.


For Top-rated and Level 2 sellers on SeoPlace, compensation payouts can be processed within three days.


Under the provisions of its policy, SeoPlace charges vendors a commission fee of 30% on the entirety of the proceeds they earn. In other words, vendors remain entitled to 70% of the gross profits, while SeoPlace receives 30%.


In addition to this, SeoPlace platform upholds a minimum withdrawal threshold of $5 for all payment gateways used by vendors irrespective of the payment mode. If a vendor’s account balance drops below $5, such a vendor can not draw money until they meet the payment threshold.



Privacy Policy and Confidentiality

  • Only create one SeoPlace account to avoid account suspension
  • Not engage in any fraudulent or illegal activity on SeoPlace
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others and avoid any unauthorized use of their work
  • Communicate promptly and effectively with buyers/sellers to keep orders on track
  • Provide high-quality work that meets the requirements outlined in the order
  • Deliver completed work on time and according to the terms agreed upon with the buyer
  • Buyers and sellers must maintain a professional and respectful tone


Company (SeoPlace)


  • Provide a safe and secure platform for buyers and sellers to transact
  • Protect the privacy and personal information of users in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Ensure that all transactions and payments are processed securely and accurately
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures that promote fair and honest conduct by users
  • Provide clear and accurate information about fees, charges, and other costs associated with using the platform

Account Termination and Suspension


SeoPlace employs stringent policies for account suspension and termination to maintain a protected and secure virtual space for freelancers and buyers. As a SeoPlace user, comprehending these policies is vital in avoiding breaches and corresponding penalties.



Account Termination Policy


SeoPlace reserves the right to terminate an account if it is determined to have breached the terms of service. The grounds for account termination encompass, but are not limited to the following:


  • Fraudulent Activities: Any duplicity aimed at the platform or SeoPlace users will lead to the termination of the account. In particular, this includes creating multiple accounts, forwarding fake traffic, deceptive reviews, and fabricating services.
  • Spamming: The account will be terminated if it dispatches spam messages or promotes products or services infringing the terms of service of SeoPlace.
  • Inappropriate Behavior: If the account participates in inappropriate behavior, including bullying or harassment, or endorses harmful or illicit activities on the virtual space, it will be terminated immediately.
  • Violating Intellectual Property Rights: If any content comprises another person's intellectual property without their consent or violates copyright laws, the account will be terminated.



Account Suspension Policy


SeoPlace reserves the right to suspend accounts of users who contravene their terms of service. The duration of account suspension will vary from temporary suspension for minor infringements, such as tardy response to orders, to indefinite suspension for serious violations, such as commission of unlawful activities.


SeoPlace also reserves the prerogative to suspend accounts at their discretion if they believe that the user's account has been unlawfully accessed or compromised.


It is crucial to note that multiple breaches of SeoPlace's terms of service will culminate in permanent account suspension. Suspension or account termination is irrevocable and users are forbidden from creating new accounts on SeoPlace in the future.

Gig: the service or task offered by a seller on the platform.


Seller: a registered user who offers services (Gigs) on the platform. A seller can be an individual, a team, or a business with a specific skill set or expertise in a field.


Buyer: a registered user who purchases a service or Gig from a seller on the platform. A buyer can be an individual or business looking for freelance services.


Order: a transaction that takes place between a buyer and a seller. When a buyer selects a Gig offered by a seller, they submit an order requesting the seller to complete a specific task or project. The order includes details of the scope of work, delivery time, and payment information.


Shopping Cart: an option where a buyer selects and stores items they wish to order while shopping for services on the platform. It is where a buyer selects the services they require from a seller and save them for future checkout or payment.



User Behavior and Security

Overview:


  • SeoPlace guarantees anonymity for its users to protect their privacy


  • Users are not allowed to request or provide personal contact information outside the SeoPlace platform, violation of this rule may result in abuse of the messaging system or bypassing the platform


  • Personal information exchange for a service must take place only through the Order Page


  • SeoPlace does not provide any guarantee of service level and disputes can be resolved using the tools in the Order Page


  • Users interacting outside of SeoPlace do not receive any protection from the platform


  • All file and information exchange must happen only on SeoPlace’s platform


  • Rude, abusive or violent language in messages is not tolerated and may result in account suspension/removal


  • SeoPlace is an inclusive platform and any discrimination on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexuality, age, or anything else will result in account suspension/removal


  • Users cannot engage, pay, or contract with parties outside of SeoPlace’s platform. This is an unacceptable action and is strictly prohibited




Orders:


  • SeoPlace strictly prohibits users from attempting to defame competing Sellers by placing orders with the intention of leaving negative reviews. Reviews received as a result of these actions will be removed, and additional actions will be taken by our Trust & Safety team to maintain the fairness and integrity of SeoPlace


  • It is unacceptable for users to engage in spamming or soliciting previous Buyers or Sellers in order to modify or remove reviews or orders, or to act in a manner contrary to SeoPlace's Order Cancellation or Feedback policies


  • SeoPlace's policies are dedicated to maintaining accountability, transparency, and fairness between all parties on its platform and expects all users to adhere to the rules in good faith


  • The SeoPlace Trust and Safety team will conduct its reviews diligently while taking all facts into account and reach decisions that are fair and appropriate for all parties involved. Users who deliberately breach SeoPlace's policies may be subject to account suspension or termination


  • SeoPlace encourages users to report any instances of policy violations they become aware of and help maintain the integrity of the platform


Gigs:


  • SeoPlace users are encouraged to notify Customer Support if they come across Gigs that appear to be copycat Gigs or are potentially in breach of SeoPlace’s Terms of Service


  • Sellers on the platform are required to ensure that any content included in their Gigs is original and does not infringe upon any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights such as copyrights, trademarks, or service marks. When including licensed materials, such as music or stock-footage media, Sellers must possess a valid license to incorporate them into their Gigs


  • SeoPlace is committed to addressing claims of intellectual property infringement. The platform will take action upon receiving complete and clear notices alleging copyright or trademark infringement


  • It is SeoPlace’s policy to work collaboratively with intellectual property rights holders to resolve any claims of infringement. SeoPlace will remove any content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others and may take further action against the individuals involved in such infringing activity


  • SeoPlace encourages users to create original content and maintain the spirit of creativity, innovation, and fair competition on the platform



Warranty Waiver


EVERY USER'S SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT. WE WOULD LIKE TO INFORM USERS OF OUR PLATFORM THAT THEY USE OUR SITE SOLELY AT THEIR OWN RISK.
